Specialized care,
gently held.
Pelvic pain, incontinence, postpartum recovery, painful periods, endometriosis, and sexual health are often dismissed or undertreated. With Janaye Volk, L.Ac., pelvic floor acupuncture works with the pelvic structures, local circulation, and the nervous system patterns that keep the pain cycle running — gentle, trauma-informed, and deeply supportive.
Your Practitioner
Janaye is Pulse's co-owner and specializes in pelvic floor acupuncture. She also offers somatic and embodiment coaching, trained at the Somatica Institute, work she brings into how she holds this care: attuned to the body, grounded, and unhurried.

This is acupuncture, not an internal exam. Points address the pelvic floor and the nervous system patterns connected to it.
As symptoms shift, your care rhythm shifts with them, typically tapering as you stabilize.

Common Questions

Janaye Volk, L.Ac., Pulse's co-owner, who specializes in this work and approaches it with real sensitivity to how vulnerable this area of care can feel.
No. This is acupuncture, not an internal exam. Needling is external, using points that address the pelvic floor and the nervous system patterns connected to it. Sessions are private and we go entirely at your pace.
Yes — postpartum recovery is one of the conditions we see most often, supporting tissue healing, hormonal regulation, and the nervous system recalibration that comes with this stage.
We're out-of-network. We provide a superbill for your insurance, and we can also submit on your behalf for a small fee. HSA and FSA are accepted.
